Khalid Ibrahim, Ed.D. Khalid is in his second decade of teaching English and Arabic as second and foreign languages. He has also worked as a professional translator/interpreter with the United Nations and the U.S. Army in Iraq and in the U.S.A. Khalid has designed and developed various language teaching programs, teacher training curricula, assessment instruments, and has presented at regional conferences. Khalid’s research interests include teaching approaches and methodologies, task-based language teaching, curriculum development, cross-cultural communication, teacher training, and program evaluation. Khalid is an avid reader and is currently working on writing a collection of short stories in English. He also enjoys playing ping pong, tennis, chess, and practicing martial arts.

Lenore Morales, Ph.D. Global Leadership, M.A. TESOL

Lenore loves to bring people together and help make positive things happen. She has supported organizations and individuals toward achieving their corporate and educational goals for over 30 years, including as a consultant for intensive English language program and university clients through her company LM Consulting. Lenore holds a Ph.D. in Global/Organizational Leadership from Indiana Tech. She earned her master’s degree in TESOL at Greensboro College and her bachelor’s degree in sociology from UNC-Pembroke. In addition to raising a family and working in the literacy and journalism fields through the years, Lenore has worked with English learners and teachers professionally for two decades, both as a teacher and an administrator. She spent a number of years as an active volunteer peer reviewer with CEA. Lenore values traveling and working with her minister-husband “Dallas” and spending time with family and friends, especially their grown children and their families. Lenore enjoys various creative pursuits including her personal favorite: singing and songwriting.

Diana Coetzee, M.A. Applied Linguistics & TESOL

Senior Learning & Development Consultant

Diana Coetzee has been working in education settings for over a decade. She has a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Italian Language and Literature from Florida Atlantic University; her M.A. in Applied Linguistics and TESOL is from Georgia State University. Diana is fascinated by the research and application of curricular techniques related to corpus linguistics and phraseology. She also loves traveling and working with international students. She has been privileged to teach in Thailand, Turkey, Slovakia, Hungary, New Zealand, and Australia. Other professional pathways Diana has been involved in were building a service-learning program for Campus Compact of Oregon and creating English Language Learning content for over 4 million followers on the U.S. Department of State’s Office of English Language Programs social media pages. At Georgia State’s College of Law, she developed analytical research pathways and conducted legal writing workshops impacting groups of 300+ JD and LL.M. students. She has presented at several national and international conferences on the use of legalese and formulaic language in the Bar Exam. Diana also has experience with machine learning in medical linguistics. In 2018, Diana became an English language faculty member with ON Language at Brenau University; in 2022 she became Program Director for the Intensive English Program and further refined her leadership and management skills, playing a key role in accreditation and standard compliance, curriculum development and admissions, as well as training professional faculty members.
